It was reported in the Telegraph that Sunderland manager, Mr Roy Keane, will be visiting with the All Blacks in New Zealand in June as part of his UEFA professional coaching requirements. An extraordinary intense player and now manager, he noted the haka "The haka is one of sport's great spectacles and if the haka doesn't scare you nothing will".
While I am in complete agreement with the intensity of the All Blacks and believe Mr. Keane is one of the sports top young managers, I thought I might suggest this little "quote" that I grew-up with usually played on a 78 and my friends...if you want motivation, if you want to understand and feel intensity - read this.
"We shall not flag or fail. We shall go on to the end. We shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air. We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be. We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing-grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills. We shall never surrender!"
Sir Winston Churchill
